National Recycling Week

National Recycling Week is on Monday 13 to Sunday 19 November.  This year’s theme is ‘What Goes Around: Why Buying Recycled Matters…’

At VinsBins we are always finding waste material that can be reused – with a little tinkering, a little know how and some handy work items are put back to life.  We love seeing something unloved reused – it means less waste goes to landfill and it’s cheaper than purchasing something brand new.

National Recycling Week was founded by Planet Ark in 1996.  Now in its 22^nd year, it is a highly regarded annual campaign that seeks to stimulate behaviour change by:

• Promoting kerbside, industrial and community recycling initiatives
• Giving people the tools to minimise waste and manage material resources responsibly at home, work and school
