VinsBins is a family run waste management company operating from our own purpose built site in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula, an hours drive from Melbourne. Starting in 2001 with our first truck, “VINS”, and three 15m3 bins, Vin & Jane saw an opportunity to develop a long-term business that would service the growing demand for waste management services in the local area.
Recognising the importance of being sustainable with the waste we collect, Vin, Jane and the team expanded our operations in 2011, where VinsBins now operates from our very own purpose built waste transfer station complex. This ensures that of all the waste we collect, over 82% of it is recycled, including as green waste, concrete and bricks, scrap steel, metals, timber, paper/cardboard and good quality garden soil – all helping to ensure that we use more and waste less.
Through a clear focus and commitment on customer service, VinsBins is proud of the trust we have developed within the communities we serve. We now have a fleet of over 22 vehicles, including brands Scania, Volvo and Hino, and close to 500 bins, with a loyal client base and a reputation as a leader in the waste management industry.
Vins Bins is open for business Monday to Saturday (excluding Public Holidays) to both the domestic market for all garden/household cleanups, the building trade and the commercial industry, supplying mini skips, medium to large walk-in bins, bins with lids and compactor bins for recycling materials.
Our bins and trucks are modern, up to date and heavy duty and our uniformed drivers offer professional and courteous service and give friendly advice if required.
Each year we donate over $20,000 to the local community, including local sporting clubs and charity organisations. We enjoy being a part of the community and are proud to be able to contribute funds or donate bins to worthwhile causes.
Vinsbins is a member of the Victorian Waste Management Association and the Australian Waste Management Association. We have also been accredited by many councils, including the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Frankston City Council & Kingston City Council, to place waste skips on nature strips and public areas.
